Sloppy Joes
This sloppy joe has the same wonderful taste as the traditional sloppy joe, but with a fraction of the sodium and less potassium.

Ingredients
1 pound
beef (ground, lean) 1⁄4 cup
green bell pepper (finely diced) 1⁄4 cup
onion (yellow, finely diced) 1⁄2 teaspoon
garlic powder 1 teaspoon
white vinegar 1 teaspoon
mustard (yellow, prepared) 1⁄2 cup
ketchup (low sodium) 1⁄3 cup
squash (yellow, pureed) 1 tablespoon
brown sugar (unpacked) 1⁄4 teaspoon

Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet
- Drain
- Add onion and green pepper
- Continue cooking till tender
- Mix ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, mustard, and black pepper together in a bowl
- Pour mixture over ground beef
- Stir together
- Turn down heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes
- Scoop about 3 ounces onto a bun
