1 tablespoon
brown sugar (packed)
1 teaspoon
cinnamon
1⁄4 teaspoon
nutmeg
1 teaspoon
vanilla
3⁄4 cups
water
2 teaspoons
cornstarch

Directions

Instructions

  • Pour ¼ cup water into a small bowl and set to the side
  • Add remaining water and apples to large skillet
  • Cook apples till almost tender
  • Add cornstarch to the small bowl of water
  • Mix till dissolved
  • Add to apples along with remaining ingredients
  • Bring to boil and continue cooking for a couple more minutes while stirring occasionally
  • Serve warm
