Shake & Oven Baked Chicken

This recipe makes a tasty, juicy lightly breaded chicken breast. Each serving is a good protein source and only counts as 1 carb serving.

Shake & Oven Baked Chicken


Serving size: 3 ounces
Change Servings:


chicken breasts (2 pounds)
1 cup
bread crumbs (plain)
1 teaspoon
garlic powder
1 teaspoon
onion powder
1⁄2 teaspoon
black pepper (ground)
1 teaspoon
thyme (dried)
1⁄2 teaspoon
1⁄2 cup
miracle whip (light)
1⁄2 cup
rice milk



  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Spray baking dish with cooking spray
  • Mix dry ingredients together in a large re-sealable bag
  • Blend miracle whip and almond milk together in a shallow pan
  • Coat chicken breast in miracle whip mixture
  • Then place coated chicken breast in large bag with dry mixture
  • Seal bag and shake till chicken is evenly covered 
  • Repeat for each chicken breast
  • Arrange each covered chicken breast in baking dish
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until completely cooked
