This is a popular Indian flatbread that makes a great accompaniment to dishes with sauce or a soup/stew. Each piece of naan has 3 grams of protein, 1 gram of fiber, and 75 mg of sodium.

Change Servings:


1 cup
flour (all purpose)
1⁄8 teaspoon
1⁄2 teaspoon
baking powder (low sodium)
1⁄2 cup
2 teaspoons
olive oil



  • Add flour, salt, baking powder, and water to a bowl
  • Stir together and form into large ball
  • Brush olive oil over dough, cover, and let sit for 5 minutes
  • After the 5 minutes, sprinkle flour on the counter, take dough and knead for 5-10 minutes
  • Make into 4 equal sized balls
  • Flour a rolling pin and the counter
  • Roll each ball out into a round, flat shape
  • Spray a skillet with butter flavor cooking spray
  • Over medium heat, grill until golden brown on both sides
