1 cup
sauerkraut (demineralized)
1 tablespoon
pickle relish (sweet)
1 tablespoon
apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon
brown sugar
1 1⁄2 teaspoon
mustard
1⁄4 teaspoon
caraway seeds
4  
hot dog buns (white)

Instructions

  • Add sauerkraut, pickle relish, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, and caraway seeds to large sauce pan
  • Mix together and heat on medium-low
  • Add in hot dogs
  • Cover and turn heat to low
  • Continue cooking for 10-15 minutes

Refrigerate any sauerkraut and hot dogs not eaten and use within 24 hours. Demineralized food spoil faster!
