salmon filets (1.6 pounds)
1 teaspoon
paprika
1 teaspoon
chili powder
1⁄4 teaspoon
cumin (ground)
1⁄4 teaspoon
brown sugar (packed)
1 tablespoon
maple syrup

Directions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Mix paprika, chili powder, cumin, and brown sugar together in a small bowl
  • Rub spice mixture over the fleshy part of the salmon evenly
  • Line a baking pan with aluminum foil
  • Spray foil with cooking spray
  • Place fish, skin side down, into the pan
  • Bake for about 15 minutes
  • Brush filets with maple syrup
  • Bake for another 10 minutes or until salmon flakes apart easily with fork
