French Toast Puffs

A fun new way to make French toast! This lower phosphorus and sodium French toast alternative has 13 grams of protein and counts as 1 ½ carbs servings per serving.

French Toast Puffs


Serving size: 2 puffs

7 slices
white bread (cubed)
2 cups
egg substitute
1 tablespoon
1⁄4 cup
vanilla almond breeze
2 tablespoons
cooking spray



  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Spray muffin tin with cooking spray and place to the side
  • Blend the egg substitute, Vanilla Almond Breeze, cinnamon, and syrup together
  • In large bowl add the cubed bread and pour the egg mixture over top
  • Carefully stir to make sure the egg mixture is soaking into all of the bread
  • Scoop soaked bread into the prepared muffin tin
  • Place in preheated oven and cook for about 20-25 minutes
  • Once done, run a butter knife around the edges of each French Toast Puff to help pop them out of the muffin tin
