2 cups
chicken breast (cooked diced)
4 cups
penne (cooked)
1 tablespoon
butter (unsalted)
2 cloves
garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons
flour
1 cup
chicken broth (low sodium)
1⁄2 cup
milk (low fat)
2 teaspoons
parsley flakes
1 teaspoon
onion powder
1⁄2 teaspoon
black pepper
1⁄3 cup
parmesan cheese (low sodium, grated)

Directions

Instructions

  • Melt butter in large sauce pan
  • Add garlic and cook over medium heat for about 1 minute
  • Add in broth, milk, and flour, stirring frequently until sauce boils and thickens
  • Add parsley, black pepper, onion powder, and cheese
  • Continue stirring
  • Once cheese has completely melted, add chicken and pasta
  • Mix thoroughly
  • Continue cooking a few more minutes
  • Serve hot
